|  Open 12 - The South Face
Firstly I have to say I really did think I would be able to drive \'Up North\' register and then get my head down before the 12:06 start. Little did I know how much 12 hours could spread out to 18 hours 36 minutes and 8 seconds. |

In the grand scheme of adventure racing, the Open12 is a relatively short event, not requiring of sleep strategy and therefore leaving only maps and food to worry about. |
